OUR STORY
love
Victoria and Colin first met in the ever-so-romantic, Charlie O's Tavern on December 1, 2017. That night they instantly felt a spark. They realized fairly quickly that they had two things in common—Snowboarding (which was not entirely truthful from Colin’s end) and their Birthday - February 28th.
(Yes, they have the same birthday.)
So, naturally they hit it off.
After meeting, they never went a day without speaking again. After only knowing each other for 2 weeks, Colin, on their second date, asked Victoria to be his girlfriend at a beautiful lights show. In an extremely dorky manner, Victoria accepted with glee. Soon after, Victoria finished college and moved home to New Jersey and Colin moved to Boston. They continued to date long distance for the next 2 years, driving back & forth across state lines for each other.
However, distance never hindered their relationship, but made it stronger, as they didn’t go a night without FaceTiming one another and finally in Fall of 2019, Victoria moved to Boston. They went from being 5 hours apart to only 15 minutes apart. They explored the city with family and friends and the following year moved into their own apartment together in the city.
From traveling to concerts, to breweries, to museums, to sports games, to ski mountains, they did it all together. Over the next few years of living with one another they took on several adventures as a team. One of their favorites being their first pup, a corgi named, Tucker. All while, Victoria pursued her graphic design career and Colin took on an important leadership role within his medical sales company.
A few of Victoria and Colins favorite moments together include: enjoying movie marathons equipped with cozy blankets and loafy dog cuddles, continuing to judge nachos on their "Nacho Tour” of Boston (ask them about the best nachos in the city!) and endless boozy brunches with their nearby close friends.
On January 14, 2022, Colin proposed to Victoria in Newport, RI on quite possibly one of the coldest days imaginable. Although Victoria thought it was bit strange that Colin was so determined to see the sunset in -8 degree weather, she was in complete awe to find Colin down on one knee with a ring in hand. At a loss for words, she still mustered out a loud & delighted,
"Yes!"
We are so excited for you to join us as we say, "I do" in the beautiful Riviera Maya in November of 2024.

GETTING THERE
Transportation
All guests should fly into the Cancun International Airport (CUN). There is a resort shuttle the can transport you from the airport to the resort. However, this is not private or direct transport, but it can get you from the Cancun airport to El Dorado Royale with no additional cost.
You can book private transportation from the airport to the hotel via our resort & our wedding coordinator Monica Castoras.

PASSPORT REMINDER!
Reminder that everyone needs to have a valid passport in order to travel internationally. It usually takes months to update or get a new passport so please make sure you plan accordingly if your passport will be expired as of November 2024.
Accommodations
We have reserved room blocks for our wedding guests at El Dorado Royale and El Dorado Casitas Royale. Rooms can be booked via link below or by contacting our wedding coordinator Monica Castoras.
REGISTRY
As this is a destination wedding and we are already asking a lot of our guests, we want to stress that gifts are optional and not at all expected.
